ZenGest™ (formerly DigestZen) contains ingredients that can be added to flavour food. This selected blend contains Ginger, Fennel and Coriander essential oils, which have been used in foods throughout the world for centuries.
ZenGest™ is great to have on hand. The essential oils of Anise, Peppermint, Ginger, Caraway, Coriander, Cardamom and Fennel are also known for their soothing and settling aromas when inhaled.
Fennel - doTERRA Fennel Essential Oil is best known as a powerful ingredient for great digestive health and to improve a sluggish digestion. It can help with gut spasms, acts as a carminative to prevent and relieve gas and bloating and, as a depurative, it has purifying and detoxifying effects. It can also be used as a natural laxative to clear the bowels and relieve constipation, but at the same time can also help to clear diarrhea.
Coriander - doTERRA Coriander Essential Oil is from the coriander seed, as opposed to the leaf which is Cilantro Essential Oil.
Peppermint- doTERRA Peppermint Essential Oil is ann effective suppressant of nausea, it also helps to alleviate headaches, can be used as an energy boost and has a cooling effect when applied to the skin. When rubbed on the tummy or taken in water it can also help relieve indigestion and support your digestive function.
Tarragon - Trragon essential oil can help to increase appetite by stimulating the secretion of digestive juices, whilsst also aiding digestion by stimulating the movement of food through the digestive tract. It can also provide relief from abdominal or stomach pain.
Anise - Supports a healthy gastrointestinal tract by preventing the growth of internal bacteria, yeast and fungi, whilst protecting against stomach conditions, such as ulcers.
Caraway - Caraway Essential Oil is used for digestive problems including heartburn, bloating, gas, loss of appetite, and mild spasms of the stomach and intestines. Caraway oil is also used to help people cough up phlegm, improve control of urination, kill bacteria in the body, and relieve constipation.
