doTERRA Cedarwood essential oil has calming and relaxing properties and creates a soothing environment when used in an ultrasonic diffuser.
Steam distilled from the Cedarwood Tree, the oil can have relaxing qualities when diffused which makes it useful to address poor sleep. It has a lovely, woody aroma.
It also has cleansing and purifying properties when applied to the skin and its properties make it helpful to use for skin problems such as acne. It's also great to add into your daily moisturising regime.
Cedarwood essential oil is often used in a carrier massage oil to ease the mind and relax the body.
Massaging your scalp with a mixture of cedarwood oil and a carrier oil, such as fractionated coconut oil, may also help reduce and soothe an itchy, flaking scalp. This may make it beneficial for dandruff and scalp eczema.
You can also try adding four to five drops of cedarwood oil directly into your shampoo or conditioner.
Diffusion:Use four to five drops in the diffuser of your choice.
Topical use: Apply one to two drops to desired area. Dilute with doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil to minimize any skin sensitivity.
