Cilantro comes from the leaves of the coriander plant and has a fresh and zingy flavour. It tastes amazing in guacamole but be very careful to add just one drop!
It is used by customers for clearing heavy metals out of your system and as a natural cleanser and detoxifier, and is sometimes used in soaps for cleansing purposes.
Internal use of Cilantro oil promotes healthy digestion and supports healthy immune and nervous system functions - which is why it also a calming oil to use.
It is very soothing and cooling to the skin and makes a great addition to any aftersun product. Linalool and trans-2-decenal, the two main components of Cilantro, are known to have surface cleansing properties, which is another reason why it is good for the skin.
It works well when combined with citrus oils.
Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.
Internal use: Dilute one drop in 4 fl. oz. of liquid.
Topical use: Apply one to two drops to desired area. Dilute with doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil to minimise any skin sensitivity.
